Devereaux House
Heritage farmhouse reception and meeting venue
Nestled within a community park in Halton Hills, Devereaux House is a beautifully restored 19th-century High Victorian farmhouse that stands as a proud symbol of the region’s heritage.
The Devereaux House reflects the evolution of rural life in Esquesing Township and was home to the Devereaux family, early settlers of the area. Saved from deterioration through the efforts of local volunteers and the Friends of Devereaux House, the building was meticulously restored using sustainable practices.
Devereaux House now blends historical authenticity with modern amenities. Opened to the public in 2009, it serves as a unique venue for meetings and events, and remains a cherished landmark as the community continues to grow and change.
Devereaux House offers a warm, historic setting perfect for intimate gatherings, meetings, and special occasions.
With its beautifully restored Victorian interior and modern amenities, it provides a unique and memorable venue that blends charm and functionality. Whether you're hosting a small reception, community meeting, or private event, the house offers a distinctive atmosphere that can’t be found in typical rental spaces.
